THERE WILL BE NO YARD VISITS PERIOD. I WILL NOT MEET ANYONE SO YOUR BITCH WILL HAVE TO BE TRANSPORTED BY MY CARRIER AND TRANSPORTED BACK. I NO LONGER GO TO THE AIRPORTS. I WILL NOT KEEP, DEAL WITH OR BREED MAN BITERS. THESE FEES WILL REMAIN IN EFFECT FOR THE YEAR OF 2024.

PERSONALLY, I DON’T GIVE A HOOT IF YOU DECIDE TO BREED A COLLIE TO ONE OF MY STUDS THAT’S YOUR BUSINESS NOT MINE! IF YOU CAN’T AFFORD A STUD FEE TO KNOWN PRODUCING STUD THEN FIND A LOCAL GUY OUT OF YOUR LOCAL NEWS PAPER OR DON’T BREED AT ALL! IF YOU CAN’T AFFORD A REASONABLE STUD FEE YOU SHOULDN’T HAVE ANY DOGS TO BEGIN WITH. THAT MEANS YOU PROBABLY KEEP THEM IN SHITTY LIVING CONDITIONS TOO.

My thoughts on studs:

What makes a dog a stud? Just because the guy down the block has a dog with a pretty pedigree and charges next to nothing to breed to his dog or lets you breed to his dog for pups does not mean he has a “stud dog”.  This is not a wise road to travel if you are truly looking to build a yard or breed quality dogs. You cannot but a price on time…the time it takes to breed & raise dogs only to find out that they are not what you were looking for.

Too many people try to “make” their dog a stud on your dime & your time. Another words they charge low stud fees to breed to an un-proven producer in order to try and prove the dogs worth as a stud.

I have never taken that path with my stud dogs. My process is simple..I breed all my own bitches pure & out crossed to a dog that I want to prove worthy of stud. I will also let people that are close to me and know my blood breed to this dog for free. This helps get many different families of dogs bred to this dog.  In two years time I take a long hard look at these dogs & decide whether or not the male is a producer. If at that time I like everything I see from that dogs offspring then & only then will I call him a stud dog!

It is at this time that I will offer this dog at stud to the public as well as sell pups off him. How many breeders do you know that will go that extra mile to assure that the public is getting what they are paying for?

A stud dog is a dog that has proven he can produce quality dogs with different families on a consistent basis. If he hasn’t than he is just a dog & not a stud dog!! Think about that…

We do not do any kind of puppy deals. These dogs are at stud for their respective stud fees only. If you want to breed to proven stud dogs from proven families you pay the stud fee. This policy will eliminate any problems or bad blood stemming for the usual puppy deal arrangements. I have been around long enough to have seen and heard it all & I choose not to put myself in those situations. Please understand my position on this.  Nothing worth while comes cheap or free. To get the best pay to breed to the best.

FEMALES SENT TO OUR YARD FOR STUD SERVICE WILL RECEIVE THE VERY BEST OF CARE. PICTURES OF THE BREEDING’S WILL BE TAKEN FOR YOUR RECORDS. WE SUGGEST USING A TRANSPORTER THAT IS RELIABLE TO ARRANGE TO GET YOUR FEMALE TO OUR YARD. IF YOU HAVE TO SHIP VIA THE AIRLINES & I HAVE TO GO PICK YOUR BITCH UP AT THE AIRPORT & SHIP HER BACK OUT A $200.00 FEE WILL BE ADDED TO THE STUD FEE. ALL GYPS BRED TO OUR STUDS WILL BE RETURNED WITH A STUD CERTIFICATE FOR REGISTERING YOUR LITTER. IN THE EVENT THAT FOR SOME REASON A BREEDING DOES NOT TAKE A REPEAT BREEDING WITH THE SAME FEMALE WILL BE OFFERED AT NO CHARGE PROVIDED THAT THE STUD CERTIFICATE GIVEN TO YOU IS RETURNED TO ME.

Due to past & recent events by people with no morals we will no longer allow yard visits. It is a shame that we live in an age where people no longer see that where a man lays his head at night with his family is his Castle. Long gone are the days where you can have people to your yard without worry of thieves. This policy is firm & it applies to everyone so please do not take it personally.
